Ashley Hageman is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience providing comprehensive, individualized mental health care to both adults and children. She holds a Master’s degree from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and specializes in the treatment of psychotic disorders, with a depth of expertise shaped by work in private inpatient hospitals, state psychiatric facilities, outpatient clinics and community-based care. Ashley is known for her thoughtful, attentive approach and her ability to build genuine, trusting relationships with her clients. She creates a calm, supportive, and highly personalized environment where individuals feel understood, respected, and at ease. Her approach to care is both evidence-based and holistic, integrating medication management with brief, supportive therapy while considering the full context of each client’s life. She works collaboratively with clients to develop treatment plans that are effective, sustainable, and aligned with their personal goals. With extensive experience across levels of care, Ashley also brings a strong network and in-depth knowledge of mental health resources, allowing her to thoughtfully guide clients when additional support or specialized services are needed. Ashley is deeply committed to providing high-quality, attentive care and offers a more personalized, relationship-centered experience than traditional settings. She values taking the time to truly understand each individual and believes that meaningful progress comes from a strong therapeutic connection. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors at the beach and hiking.
